Report

How do I report concerns about knife crime anonymously?

It’s important to remember that if there is immediate danger, you should always call Triple Zero (000).

You can report knife carrying anonymously by:

  • Calling Crimestoppers Queensland on 1800 333 000 or reporting online via www.crimestoppers.com.au
  • Calling Policelink on 131 444 or reporting online
  • Speaking to a trusted adult (parent, coach, family friend or elder), teacher or school counsellor at your school who will follow their school’s reporting procedures or notify police.

The Queensland Police Service also provides a messaging service that allows deaf, hearing-impaired and vulnerable persons in Queensland to contact Police for non-urgent matters.

You must register online to use this service.

Messages are received by Policelink.  They will then process your information to ensure the appropriate Police response is provided.

If you are feeling pressured or influenced to carry a knife and need to talk to someone, help is always available. You can contact:

The StandUp program complements the work of the Jack Beasley Foundation (JBF) and Balin Stewart Foundation (BSF), creating a dual focus and broader reach of knife crime education.
